If you already have funds on Solana, you can use the widget by Mayan Finance below to swap SOL or USDT to USDC to start betting. More exotic tokens can be swapped to USDC via jup.ag .

If you have funds on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BSC, or Avalanche, you can use the Mayan Finance bridge widget for the best bridging experience. The Mayan Finance infrastructure will handle all bridges and swaps to ensure you end up with the USDC tokens you need for betting at Purebet. Connect your Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, or Wallet Connect compatible wallet to the widget then connect the Solana wallet you would like to receive the USDC. Select the chain and token you want to bridge from and ensure you are happy with the given rate. You should also check the acceptable slippage in the settings. Bridging from Ethereum may have higher slippage because fees are included in the slippage rate. The progress of the bridging can be tracked on the Mayan Explorer from the link given once you initiate the swap.

If you are bridging to Solana for the first time, you will need some SOL to cover the very low gas fees. This can be obtained from the above Mayan widget by setting "Gas on desination" in the settings, or an exchange, by bridging, or by asking nicely in our Discord server and we will provide a small amount to allow you to make your first transaction. We recommend you obtain at least $1 worth of SOL, which will last many many transactions.

Most exchanges like Binance allow you to withdraw SOL and USDC to a Solana blockchain wallet. Ensure the USDC is withdrawn to the Solana network or mentions SPL (Solana Program Library). Do a test withdrawal of a small amount if you are unsure. Some exchanges may only allow withdrawals of SOL to the Solana network. In this case, withdraw SOL to your Solana blockchain wallet, then swap most of it to USDC, leaving at least $1 worth of SOL to pay for future transaction fees. $1 of SOL will last many many transactions.

If your exchange does not allow withdrawals to the Solana blockchain, you can withdraw to another blockchain and follow the bridging instructions from the above section. If you do not already have a native token for gas fees, we recommend withdrawing a native token (ETH on Ethereum and Arbitrum, BNB on BSC, AVAX on Avalanche) and bridging it immediately via the steps listed in the section above.

You could sign up to a centralised exchange, deposit funds via bank wire or card payment, and follow the instructions in the above section.

Alternatively, you could look at instant fulfilment services, such as MoonPay which offer card to crypto transactions almost instantly, but take high fees for the luxury.

MoonPay is integrated directly into the Phantom wallet. Create your wallet then hit “buy” on the main page. Follow the steps and select MoonPay. The fees for this can be high (e.g. $100 only buys you $98.5 worth of USDC). This service is run by Phantom and MoonPay and is totally unaffiliated with Purebet.

Remember, once you have the funds in your wallet, only you can control them. Additionally, MoonPay do not offer a crypto > card service. This can be obtained via centralised exchanges or other off-ramp services.
